#NUCLEAR THRONE WIKIA MODS#
Make sure it's in the right mods subfolder, and make sure you launch the NuclearThroneTogether.exe rather than the normal game. Cheats mode can also be used to test certain characters, weapons, mods, mutations, and Ultras. The cheats Game Mode allows you to alter certain aspects of the run/character, such as weapons, mods, levels, enemies, etc. You then need to start a game, press T, and type "/load NTTE". Cheats is a special Game Mode unlocked in Nuclear Throne Ultra by attaining 100 completion (this includes all characters, skins, and gamemodes). To play, you'll need to first grab the Nuclear Throne Together mod, then follow the (simple) instructions here, then grab the Territorial Expansion from here and pop it in your shiny new "mods" folder. I couldn't find more info, but that's because discovering this stuff for yourself is part of the point. The mod's site mentions "merged weapons", "chest shops" and "bonus pickups" as entirely new features. Difficulty is a delicate thing with a punishing roguelike like Nuclear Throne, and I'm intrigued to see how Team Te has handled it. I'd expect an expansion like this to sprinkle in additions rather than totally change the balance of the opening level. Part of the reason I haven't seen much of the new stuff is because I'm rustier than a post-apocalyptic screwdriver, and keep being eaten by terrible scorpions. That horrible early tunnels section has been made more horrible. The only concretely new creature I've met, in fact, has been a sewer rat wearing a gas mask who poisoned me to death.
#NUCLEAR THRONE WIKIA HOW TO#
Someone tell me how to reach the ducks with hammers. This is a shame, as I'm keen to meet the ducks with hammers. I've only played for ten minutes so far, and have worked out this isn't the exit portal. Mostly on show there is the beach, a secret area you can reach by "throwing bones at something specific". Nothing like a pet parrot to lure me back to armageddon. There are new areas, enemies, bosses, weapons and characters. Their homebrewed "Territorial Expansion" came out last week, with enough doo dahs and polish to pass as an official update. It had it all - except clearly a team of modders disagreed. Knife-edge dodge rolls, chunky shotguns, playable telekinetic eyeball monsters. After defeating the throne you will see the game's ending.Post-apocaltypic roguelike Nuclear Throne was a blast. The massive blast consists mostly of big green explosions which deal 12-24 damage each. Each green bullet deals 2 damage on contact.ĭeath Phase Upon death the Throne explodes into multiple small explosions and then one large explosion. In total, it fires 48 large bullets in the general direction of the player and will often repeat this attack, each time changing it's direction. Tri-shot phase The Throne fires a triple bullet shot from 2 mounted turrets. Large orbs will break the Throne Statues which spawn Guardians. The large orbs causes 12 damage on contact. Large orbs instantly spawn the small orbs upon hit. Each smaller orb deals 5 damage on contact. The large orbs have a high chance to drop mini ammo/health pickups. This is the main attack of the Throne, and is fired toward the player. Orb Phase The Throne fires 2 large green orbs which, in turn, explode into 7 lines of 4 smaller orbs each. Each statue spawns a Guardian that will try to kill your character. As it comes in contact with the Throne Statue props, it will break them. Walking away from the boss triggers it to move towards you. Walking on the red carpet during the fight can trigger the boss to fire its beam. It will cycle randomly through moving, and Beam, Orb, or Tri-shot phases over time. After the first beam phase the throne transforms, grows legs and begins to move in your direction a little at a time. Beating the Throne will end your run unless you loop the game.īeam Phase The large cannon in the center of the Throne fires out a beam of laser. The room starts to shake and the music changes as the Throne boss enters its first attack phase. Attempting to shoot the throne will destroy the skeleton. You cannot walk up the stairs to sit on it yourself. The Nuclear Throne is the boss of The Palace and currently the final boss of the game.Īs you approach the end of the throne room (7-3) walking on a long red carpet, you reach a huge throne with a skeleton sitting on it.
